Kate’s Testimony

I'm Kate and I’m originally from Ireland. I came to the United States 15 years ago. When I came here, I met my husband it was just a very, very bad relationship for me. We were trying to have a family, we had many miscarriages with that, I had to leave in the middle of the night. I hung out with the wrong crowd after that, I stayed on whoever's couch would let me stay there. I basically just stayed with whatever friends where ever and that led me to heroin, meth, and whatever drug I could get my hands on to take the pain away. Then I got locked up, I was in jail for about four months they told me that I could leave and go to a drug program. That's when I found The Fix, a year-long program that the Lord led me to for a reason.

I've done a lot of healing for myself. I've done a lot of work on myself and it's all thanks to the Lord. I've learned to not only like myself but just to love who I'm becoming. I'm surrounded by so much love. I've never been so loved in my entire life. This is where I'm supposed to be. I'm generally very happy. Thanks to God and thanks to The Fixed Ministry. This is my family. This is probably would be where I will be for the next couple of years. I am now healing by helping other women heal. I appreciate and am very grateful to everybody in The Fix Ministry.
