During the 12-18 month stay, the student will stay at “The Lodge”. The house is a unique one of a kind building that is perfect for what we are trying to accomplish. The upstairs is over 3500 square feet and each room has its own bathroom and living space. While we instill structure and discipline, we want the student to feel at home.

One of the unique features of “The Lodge” is the Common room, where we gather for bible studies, classes, chapels, meeting, baptisms and movies on the weekends. Every Saturday, we have an open house where we invite families and people from the community to come for food, fellowship and the Word of God. Our day usually begins and ends with prayer in this room.

A typical day begins at 6:30 am where the student gets up, makes and cleans their room. After their rooms are expected they are assigned a chore, like bathroom or common room. Once they are released, they meet for prayer and lift ups.

From 7:30 to 9:00 we meet for bible study, classes or group studies. This biblical focused time is to teach real world, applicable lessons to help them to be shaped into productive men of God. After we end the classes, the student is assigned their work for the day, which could be working on the farm, vocational training at one of our partners or helping with one of our outreach teams.

Once the students return from their assigned duties, we meet for dinner and prepare for our evening activities. Sundays and Tuesdays, we set up and serve at “The Lighthouse” urban ministry. Monday and Thursdays, we have bible classes or personal studies. Friday’s is a free night, where the student can play pool, watch movies or catch up on their work. Saturday is our open house.
